Fallin' in Love with Fall

On Sunday we decided to go check out the beautiful leafs up by Mountain Meadows, we met Patricks Mom there and had a blast hiking around and taking pictures of everything! It was so nice to get out of the house and into the fresh air! I'm so glad Bev suggested it! We even packed a littl picnic and ate after we went and saw Mountain Meadow Masacre site! I hadn't been for quite some time so it was neat to see some of the different things the church has done in memory of all the lifes that were lost! It was neat to see all the dear tracks that had come out as well more towards the evening, we had to wear are hunter orange too since it was deer hunt! tee hee! We definitly had a good time and the scenery made all the more fun!

The Newest Member of the Family!!!

Johnny got Erin a new Puppy! He is the cutest little thing i've ever seen! I wan to dognap him! He's a little biter though but it's so funny, wherever you walk he'll follow your feet and try to bite your toes! They brought him over to a family BBQ and the kids adored him, carried him, dragged him, kissed him, hugged him and everything else in between the poor thing couldn't even keep his head up after they were done with him! We love him and are excited to have him as part of the family! Oh and they named him Rawley!

Ocotober Craftiness!

I got both of these ideas from two different websites but I can't remember what they are called! But they were really fun to make and thanks to Patrick's creativity we made them work! I saw the Halloween tree in Krumpet's but didn't want to spend the money on it so I figured it would be easy enough to make my own! I bought the ornaments there though because my creativity only goes so far! I figured we needed something halloweeny in our house but i'm not a huge halloween person so that's about as far as it goes! Than the next project was an old picture frame that we had so we took out the picture, bought some chicken wire and stapled it to the back and we spray painted the frame and some of the chicken wire, it was cute like that but kind of plain so Patrick came up with the idea of putting some fabric behind it to spice it up a bit! I have a genuis for a husband! So I went to JoAnnes and got some cute fabric I like that would match are kitchen and it turned out cute! You can put a Calendar, To Do Lists, Wedding Annoucments, Grocery Lists, exc..to hang on this and it makes life a little bit more organized and it also adds a little character in your home!
